 If you have ever worked in joint projects (connected with PC work) you should know how much it is important to supervise the results of joint and individual work, to watch who has brought what contribution to the general work and how it has reflected on project folders. The control problem dares simply if to use folder compare and file synchronization for tracing of changes. Both procedures urged to compare and synchronize directories that allows to supervise the current maintenance of folders, to find duplicate files in different folders and many other things.
Among sync softwares engaged in directory compare and file synchronization a special place is occupied with program File Sync. The program has no difficult panels of menu and tools; the majority of actions is carried out in one-two pressing of buttons. The program is engaged in both folder compare and file synchronization. Both actions can be carried out within the limits of specially created tasks. Each such task is created by means of the option « New task» (menu "File"). Within the limits of the task it is possible to spend folder compare for each pair of directories as well as to carry out file synchronization.
The work process of the sync software passes in two stages. At the first stage you load both compared directories from the tree of folders on the hard disk (option «Browse») and analyze the maintenance of both folders (option «Analyze»). It is easy to guess that if the maintenance of the folders is absolutely identical there is no necessity to spend file synchronization. If not you decide. If you have decided to spend file synchronization use the option «Sync» which will help to lead the maintenance of one folder to the maintenance of another one. Pay attention that the synchronization can be spent from left to right and on the contrary depending on the folder the maintenance of which is synchronized. Additional conditions can be entered using «Settings». |
